“I wish I could show you, when you are lonely and in darkness, the astonishing light of your own being.” Hafiz, 14th century mystic Persian poet

Come share four days with us in the mountains and high desert of northern New Mexico, along the banks of the Winsor Creek and Pecos River, under the star-filled skies. For the first time, we’re offering a retreat designed specifically around healing in nature and we’re excited to share rituals and ceremonies, explore the wisdom of trees and water, and be in wise community. Together, we will co-create a sacred space to re-energize our souls and spirit.
“Healing the oneness wound” invites us to heal the wound of separation — separation from nature, from each other, and even from ourselves.

We’ll learn to be in greater mutual exchange with the earth. We’ll deepen our sense of belonging within our community. And perhaps most importantly, with tenderness we’ll explore where we may have abandoned ourselves earlier in life. We’ll work with both group and individual experiences to best nourish and heal ourselves, and we’ll look to mother nature to guide and deepen our growth. We’ll do all of this in a beautiful community of brave individuals meeting this moment with love and compassion.

Who this journey is for:
- Women, queer, or non-binary folk who want to connect more deeply to themselves and nature
- Anyone wanting to feel more joy and aliveness, and who doesn’t these days?!
- Those wanting to heal — a loss, a sexual assault, a death, eco-grief — anything that might be holding you back from being your fullest self
- Those who feel the toll of inherited patriarchal systems and want to heal and transform it within themselves
- Folks seeking a supportive community, facilitated in a trauma-informed setting in nature
- Humans who want to be in greater reciprocity with the more-than-human world
Our time together:
- Sept 12: arrive at basecamp in the afternoon to set up camp and introduce ourselves to the land; evening ceremony to set our intentions and create a group altar
- Sept 13: enjoy an eco-hike and experience ritual and ceremonies that can be used in healing work; talking circle and time with the stars after dinner
- Sept 14: spend the day in a solo spot of your choosing; connect with the land and your most authentic self; evening sharing circle
- Sept 15: rebirthing ceremony in the river
- Sept 16: closing circle and remembrance ceremony; gratitude to the spirits of the land; return to Santa Fe or Albuquerque by early afternoon
What you’ll walk away with:
- Deep embodiment of your authentic, intuitive self
- Ceremonies for healing and nourishing yourself through self-care
- A powerful community of women to lean on, learn with, and be witnessed by
- Profound connection to nature as a source of guidance, healing, and strength
- Experience of becoming one with nature, sharing in and learning her gifts
We will be guests in a mountain cabin, nestled in the Santa Fe National Forest about an hour from Santa Fe. There are a limited number of private bedrooms so please let us know whether you’d like to sleep inside or out. Many of us will sleep under the stars (need camping gear? Just ask, we have a robust gear lending library!)

“If you want to awaken all of humanity, then awaken all of yourself. If you want to eliminate the suffering in the world, then eliminate all that is dark and negative in yourself. Truly, the greatest gift you have to give is that of your own self-transformation.” Lao Tzu
